We’re pleased to welcome back our Summer Bandstands each Saturday afternoon in July 4-6pm. Enjoy live music from talented local performers, hosted by our friend and musician Edwin Addis.
After a great start to the Season on the 5th with Gareth Haze and Compound Radius we're looking forward to the next on Saturday 12th with the Speak Out in Hounslow Choir, Steve Brewin, Andrea Black and Nicole Hines.
Steve’s musical career was born in the murky swamps of punk rock but he realised in his heart of heart there was the blues. Combining the raw blues with his punk attitude will give the audience an experience they certainly won’t forget.
With 10 albums to her credit, Andrea's music continues to inspire audiences defining her as cross-genre artist with a unique and distinct style on guitar, woven by her unmistakeable dynamic vocals. Andrea’s most recent album is Harvest Gold released on vinyl on that iconic major label: PYE Records.
Nicole Hines is a UK-born singer-songwriter with roots in the rich cultures of the DR Congo and Jamaica. Raised in Hounslow, she blends smooth vocals, and soulful R&B with a storyteller's touch - curating covers and originals that explore emotions, identity and self-discovery.
This year, the Friends are raising funds for Speak Out in Hounslow, a local charity supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. Speak Out empowers people to express themselves and take an active role in the community.
The Friends are especially excited to welcome back the Speak Out Choir on Saturday 12 July. Come and be inspired—and please consider donating to help their incredible work continue. You can find our fundraising page here.
Always check Lemonrock, our website and Facebook page for updates. There’ll be deck chairs and cushions available, or feel free to bring your own seating or picnic blanket. We hope the shade from our parasols and gazebos will be welcome too!
