Organised by the Friends of Watermans Park with support from the London Borough of Hounslow and Thames River Moorings, this series celebrates the talent and spirit of our Brentford community. Events are hosted by our friend and brilliant local musician, Edwin Addis.
Earlier in July, we’ve enjoyed fantastic performances from:
Gareth Haze, Compound Radius, the Speak Out in Hounslow Choir, Steve Brewin, Andrea Black, and Nicole Hines.
And on Saturday 26 July, we’re thrilled to welcome:
A multi-instrumentalist with a sound rooted in blues, zydeco, and bluegrass, Ed delivers a dynamic and original live show. With his signature suitcase drum, guitar, and breathtaking harmonica, he’s played venues from The Union Chapel to Brentford Market Place, as well as major festivals and tours across Europe.
Yasmin and Leo—members of the not-for-profit Powerjam Band Project—will perform a special acoustic set. They’ve been part of Powerjam for six years and recently released their single “TIMESTAMP” through the Powerjam label, which supports young musicians in retaining full rights to their work. Follow Powerjam Band Project to learn more!
A powerful singer-songwriter with “haunting and beautiful” vocals, Elaine has been performing since the early ’90s. Whether solo or with her acclaimed prog folk rock band, her music blends rich harmonies, rhythm guitar, and electric violin, flute, and sax to spellbinding effect.
Steve launched his music career at 50—and hasn’t looked back. With five solo albums, multiple EPs, and praise from Moody Blues legend Ray Thomas, Steve delivers melodic, soulful rock with real heart. His newest album Honesty and Chocolate is set for release in 2025.
🎵 Ian Pass & Edwin Addis
Local musicians and long-time collaborators, Ian and Edwin bring acoustic warmth and honest storytelling to the Summer Bandstand. Their performances are thoughtful, reflective, and deeply human—much like The Real Alfie, the moving memoir they recently co-authored about Ian’s extraordinary life.
🎗️ This year we’re raising funds for Speak Out in Hounslow, a local charity supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. Speak Out empowers individuals to express themselves and take part in community life. Please consider donating to support their vital work. You can find our fundraising page here.
